The goal of this database is to list, in one location, the names of the soldiers in British Regiments of Foot that were Killed, Died or Deserted during the War of 1812. This will be an ongoing project, but hopefully all the British Regiments will be added by the start of the Bicentennial in June, 2012.

Names from seven British Regiments - the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 82nd, 100th and 104th have now been added. Continue to watch for more updates.

In order to make searching records easier a field has been added for the place the record/event occured. Over time the records will be edited to contain this data but it will be a slow and time consuming process. Please be patient....
